Basic Concepts
There are 3 main types of page: Posts are the standard way you publish new content. Posts are given a Category. Make sure you set the category to your own Category and remove ‘Flow’ (the default category) so your posts don’t show up in the Flow stream.
For documents that you want to be more consistent in location, you use Pages.
The third useful core document type is Article, which is part of a wiki plugin. The most notable characteristic of the wiki section is that any visitor can click Edit and submit changes or new articles, which go to us for approval.
This document that you’re reading now is a wiki article. Articles and Pages don’t show up automatically in the blog feed when you post, so you need to take some other action to make sure they’re discoverable.
Section Start Pages
Each section has a starting page. This is what the home page and the top header menu point to. You can clone an existing Page for consistency.
Home Page Blocks
Provide an SVG white-and-transparent icon for use in a block on the home page of the site.
